Procurement Officer West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, Hong Kong SAR. Responsibilities Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and gather pricing information. Assist the supervisor in managing the full spectrum of procurement activities, including preparing and maintaining documentation for purchase requisitions, quotations/tenders, and purchase orders. Prepare Request for Quotation/Tender (RFx) documents, support users in compiling RFx assessments, conduct supplier due diligence, and assist in contract award in compliance with the Authority’s policies and guidelines. Maintain accurate records and provide administrative support for internal controls related to contract management, vendor management, and management reporting. Support procurement system operations, including purchase requisition and purchase order processing, as well as procurement data collection for analysis and reporting. Perform any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority. Requirements Possess a recognized university degree, preferably in Purchasing and Supply Management, Business Management, or a related discipline. Qualification in procurement or membership in a recognized professional association (e.g., CIPS, ISM, IPSHK) will be considered an advantage. 1–2 years of solid experience in procurement and vendor management within a sizable organization. Experience in using ERP or other procurement systems. Knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and guidelines (knowledge of Category Management is an advantage). Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
