Manager (Film Promotion and Facilitation) ($64,780\ 9 Months \ Govt. \ Wan Chai) to assist in planning, procurement, liaison, implementation and organisation of the promotional events and activities in major international film festivals and to provide onsite assistance during the events/activities held/ to be held in the Mainland, Asia, North America and Europe; to handle work relating to delegation and visits and meetings with Mainland and overseas delegations; to assist in preparing speeches, speaking/interview notes, powerpoint/ video presentations and provide protocol, hospitality and logistical support to senior officials of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency and guests and talents in attending activities, ceremonies, events or interviews as well as delegation visits in Mainland and/or overseas cities; to liaise and strengthen communications with film-related organisations, associations and film festivals in Hong Kong, Mainland and overseas markets for the collaboration opportunity and cultural exchanges; to initiate and develop creative ideas and concepts for producing publicity materials for promoting activities and events, including bilingual press releases, facebook, video; to handle applications for other film-related projects under Film Development Fund and closely monitor the progress of approved projects; to prepare the evaluation reports of promotional activities and events; and to perform other duties as assigned by senior officers. Requirements a Hong Kong permanent resident; a Hong Kong bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, preferably in Marketing, Public Relations, Media & Communications or other related disciplines; a minimum of six years’ post qualification working experience in the field of marketing and public relations, among which at least three years’ experience related to film/entertainment/culture-related industry in either private or public sector; Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (Remark); excellent command of written English and Chinese and speak fluent English, Cantonese and Putonghua; able to work independently, flexibly and under tight time frame; good problem-solving and organisation skills, and able to communicate effectively with people of the film industry, private and public sectors; and immediate availability is highly preferable. (Remark: ‘Grade C’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 3’ in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.) Required to work 44 hours a week (including lunch breaks) with an average of 8.8 hours per working day from 8:45 a.m. to 5:33 p.m. or 9:30 a.m. to 6:18 p.m. (Monday to Friday). #J-18808-Ljbffr
