Manager (Film Promotion and Facilitation) – Government Contract – Ref. 2562 Our client (Government) is looking for a high calibre candidate to fill the following position: Job Duties Assist in planning, procurement, liaison, implementation and organization of promotional events and activities in major international film festivals and provide onsite assistance during events held in Mainland, Asia, North America, and Europe. Handle work related to delegation, visits, and meetings with Mainland and overseas delegations. Assist in preparing speeches, speaking/interview notes, PowerPoint/video presentations and provide protocol, hospitality and logistical support to senior officials and guests during activities, ceremonies, events, or interviews. Liaise and strengthen communications with film-related organisations, associations, and film festivals in Hong Kong, Mainland, and overseas markets for collaboration opportunities and cultural exchanges. Initiate and develop creative ideas and concepts for producing publicity materials, including bilingual press releases, Facebook, video, etc. Handle applications for other film-related projects under the Film Development Fund and closely monitor the progress of approved projects. Prepare evaluation reports of promotional activities and events. Perform other duties as assigned by senior officers. Requirements Holder of Hong Kong bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, preferably in Marketing, Public Relations, Media & Communications or other related disciplines. Minimum of six years’ post‑qualification working experience in marketing and public relations, including at least three years’ experience in the film/entertainment/culture‑related industry in either the private or public sector. Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent. Excellent command of written English and Chinese, and fluency in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua. Ability to work independently, flexibly and under tight time frames. Good problem‑solving and organizational skills, and ability to communicate effectively with people of the film industry, private and public sectors. Remarks Monthly salary: HK$64,780. Working location: Wan Chai. Overseas work including Mainland, Asia, North America and Europe is required. 5‑day work week. Government 9‑month contract.
