Engaged in both investment and direct operation of overseas mines, covering exploration, production, and development of metallic minerals such as copper, zinc, gold, nickel, and more. Job Description Location: Hong Kong (with overseas travel including short-and‑medium term work at overseas mine sites) Undertake research and analysis on the global mining industry, with emphasis on operational practices and site performance. Organize and participate in the analysis and feasibility demonstration of investment projects, including in‑depth operational reviews at overseas mine sites. Organize and participate in the implementation and promotion of approved investment projects. Post‑acquisition: actively manage and oversee the daily operations of overseas mines, ensuring smooth transition from investment to production. Supervise mine operations including safety, production efficiency, workforce management, and compliance with international standards. Organize and participate in the management of post‑investment projects, focusing on operational optimization and performance tracking. Undertake overseas assignments to project sites as required, including short‑ and medium‑term station overseas mine sites. Ideal Candidates Master’s degree in geology, mining engineering, mineral processing, metallurgy, or other related mining disciplines. Minimum 5 years of professional, hands‑on experience in overseas mining operations or at overseas mines (Canada, Indonesia, Africa, Australia, or other regions). Proven track record in mine operations management, including production, safety, and workforce supervision. Strong technical foundation in mining operations, mineral processing, metallurgy, and geology. Working knowledge of finance, accounting, and investment principles is a plus. Direct involvement in successful overseas mining investment projects, or deep participation in the full cycle of overseas mining project investment, is an advantage. Good command of English and Putonghua. Strong written skills in drafting materials such as requests for instructions, operational reports, and analytical documentation. Familiarity with the mining industry, with an intuitive understanding of the entire process of mine development, construction, and operation. Clear logical thinking, strong communication skills, and effective teamwork.
