Mining Investment Manager – HK listed / Global Mines Investment (Wanchai) Join to apply for the Mining Investment Manager – HK listed / Global Mines Investment (Wanchai) role at JPC Corporation Location: Hong Kong (with overseas travel and assignments) Company: Strategic Mining Investment Arm of a China State‑Owned Enterprise About the Company Member of a Hong Kong‑listed group China state‑owned enterprise specializing in strategic mining investments Recognized as one of the leading players in the metals and mining sector Focused on securing upstream resources and expanding global supply chains Engaged in exploration, production, and development of metallic minerals like copper, zinc, gold, nickel, etc. Job Responsibilities Report to Head of Overseas Mining Investment Division Conduct research and analysis on global mining industry trends to identify, evaluate and qualify overseas mines for investment purpose Participate in feasibility studies and investment project evaluations including operations review in various targeted mine sites Support implementation and promotion of approved investment projects Assist in post‑investment project management and performance tracking Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders Prepare analytical reports and formal documentation for senior leadership Handle ad hoc assignments as directed by department heads Travel to overseas mining sites as required, including work based in the mining sites on a short‑term and medium‑term basis Ensure alignment with company strategy and compliance standards Ideal Candidates Master’s degree in geology, mining, mineral processing, metallurgy, or related disciplines Minimum 2 years of professional experience in mining operations of mines located overseas Strong technical foundation in mining, mineral processing, metallurgy, and geology Working knowledge of finance, accounting, and investment principles is a plus Experience in overseas mining investment projects is an advantage Proficient in English and Putonghua Strong drafting and analytical reporting skills Familiarity with mine development, construction, and operational processes Understanding of enterprise management and legal compliance Proficient in office software and reporting tools Willingness to travel and work on‑site at overseas mines on a short‑term and medium‑term basis when needed Employee Benefits Five‑day work week 15 days annual leave Medical insurance coverage for employee, spouse, and children TO APPLY Please attach your CV with salary expected to Personal data provided by job applicants will be used for recruitment purpose only.
