MINING INVESTMENT MANAGER – China State‑Owned Enterprise Mines Investor & Operator (Sheung Wan) JPC Texson Ltd, established in 1990, is a Hong Kong and China licensed Employment Consulting firm that specialises in headhunting and recruiting services for companies across Hong Kong and China. We have offices in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Beijing. Company Overview We are a China state‑owned enterprise specialising in strategic mining investments and operations. Recognised as a leading player in the metals and mining sector, we focus on securing upstream resources, expanding global supply chains, and engaging in both investment and direct operation of overseas mines. Our portfolio covers exploration, production, and development of metallic minerals such as copper, zinc, gold, nickel and more. Responsibilities Undertake research and analysis on the global mining industry. Organise and participate in the analysis and feasibility demonstration of investment projects, including technical and operational reviews at overseas mine sites. Lead the implementation and promotion of approved investment projects. Post‑acquisition, actively participate in the daily management and operation of overseas mines, ensuring smooth transition from investment to production. Oversee mine operations, including safety, production efficiency, workforce management and compliance with international standards. Manage post‑investment projects, focusing on operational optimisation and performance tracking. Undertake overseas assignments to project sites as required, including short‑ and medium‑term on‑site postings. Perform other tasks assigned by department heads or company leadership. Travel is required. Qualifications Master’s degree in geology, mining engineering, mineral processing, metallurgy or a related mining discipline. Minimum 5 years of professional, hands‑on experience working on‑site in overseas mining operations. Strong technical foundation in mining operations, mineral processing, metallurgy, geology and additional knowledge in finance, accounting and investment. Direct involvement in successful overseas mining investment projects, or deep participation in the full cycle of overseas mining project investment. Excellent command of English and Mandarin (listening, speaking, reading, writing). Strong written skills for drafting instructions, operational reports and analytical documentation. Familiarity with the entire process of mine development, construction and operation. Proficiency in office software and reporting tools. Clear logical thinking, strong communication skills and effective teamwork.
