What's the role? Bloomberg’s Corporations business is focused on developing strategies and solutions to enhance our opportunity with all audiences at Corporations, ranging from Corporate Treasury to C‑suite to Product Strategy groups and everything in between. As a Sales Account Manager, you will use your product and industry skills and relationships to research and understand our clients' workflows and identify where opportunities exist for Bloomberg to help them with existing or future solutions. You will develop deep and trusted relationships with clients, understanding their workflow and technology, successfully managing relationships with C‑Suite and driving enterprise revenue strategies. Your consultative approach should uncover opportunities and expand our partnerships while increasing our clients’ overall operating efficiency. Responsibilities Develop deep and trusted relationships with corporate clients. Understand client workflows and technology, managing relationships with C‑Suite executives. Drive enterprise revenue strategies and uncover new opportunities. Stay up‑to‑date with latest trends and business initiatives within the client base. Maximize short‑ and long‑term sales opportunities and mitigate risks to existing revenue. Creatively find ways to engage clients to increase the value of Bloomberg products. Develop an in‑depth knowledge of what clients do at all levels of their business, including Terminal users and the broader technology and data suite. Show competence and growing knowledge of the markets, product knowledge, and technical skills. Demonstrate sales creativity and collaborate internally to implement and execute beneficial solutions to cross‑sell the suite of products. Participate actively in new projects that drive departmental and firm‑wide initiatives and goals. Contribute innovative ideas that anticipate and address client needs. Seek out additional ways to demonstrate leadership and make an impact, such as mentoring, training, running campaigns, and active involvement in product enhancement. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of client‑facing experience in Financial Technology, Technology or Solutions‑focused sales or support roles. Consultative sales skills, including competitive market research, lead generation, prospecting, business development, and closing skills. Experience or knowledge of corporation workflows and technology and/or data requirements of key profiles within an organization. A natural curiosity for clients and an appreciation of the evolving needs of industrial corporations (Automotive, Energy, Mining and Metals, Pharmaceutical, Technology). Proven ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements concurrently. Ability to spot and act upon industry trends to create and close sales opportunities. Experience in building and maintaining senior client and internal stakeholder relationships. Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization. Exemplary presentation and communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Ability to travel frequently. Additional Preferences Familiarity with the Bloomberg product suite.
