The Hong Kong Trade Development Council ("HKTDC"), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong's external trade, seeks a dynamic and high caliber candidate to join our Exhibition Services Department.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with sales to follow up with exhibitors for booth facilities ordering to ensure order accuracy
  • Process additional orders including data entry, collection of order forms and preparation of order summary
  • Co-ordinate with internal departments and external vendors/contractors to ensure the quality of services
  • Work closely with operation team to ensure efficient processing of ordered facilities
  • Manage the operation of on-site service counter and undertake on-site duties
  • Perform administrative duties such as handling reports, filing system and meeting schedules
  • Provide clerical work assistance to Sales
  • Assist sales on cold call and conduct follow up
  • Other duties to be assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing / Event Management / Business/ Communication/ Hotel & Hospitality or relevant disciplines
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua
  • Proficient in MS applications and Chinese word processing
  • Customer-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, self-initiated and very attentive to details
  • Well-organized, willing to learn and self-motivated
  • Able to work independently
  • Previous experience in exhibition / event industry is preferred
  • Willing to work long hours and on public holidays
  • Possession of Construction Industry Safety card issued by endorsed institutions of HKSAR preferred
  • Workplace in Tseung Kwan O Logistics Centre (Shuttle bus service will be provided from Tiu Keng Leng MTR Station)
Remuneration and Benefits:

The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
