Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer / Assistant Field Service Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical service support to our clients, primarily hospitals, ensuring the optimal performance of medical equipment and systems. This role involves on-site troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and fostering strong client relationships. Roles and Responsibilities: Provide on-site technical support to hospitals and healthcare facilities, including repairs, inspections, and regular preventive maintenance of medical equipment and systems. Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure the smooth operation of critical healthcare equipment. Conduct performance testing and calibration of equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications. Respond promptly to client inquiries and service requests, providing clear and effective solutions. Perform root cause analysis for equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Offer technical guidance and training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of equipment. Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing their concerns and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs. Proactively communicate with clients to schedule maintenance visits and provide updates on service activities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records, including repair logs, maintenance reports, and equipment histories. Prepare and submit service reports, expense reports, and other documentation in a timely manner. Manage inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring availability for service tasks. Required Qualifications: Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized university or college in Hong Kong. Basic experience in Field Services or a similar technical support role is required. Fresh graduates with relevant internship or project experience are also encouraged to apply. Strong understanding of electronic and mechanical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment. Familiarity with medical equipment and healthcare technology is a plus. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, software, and technical manuals. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Cantonese. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical clients. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive client relationships. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
