Network support (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, Wi‑Fi) Hardware troubleshooting Two deskside and two network Job Overview The Deskside Support Lead will manage and support a team of four engineers (two deskside). This role combines leadership responsibilities with active technical involvement. The Lead will participate from the project transition stage through steady‑state operations, ensuring consistent service delivery, incident resolution, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead, coordinate, and support a small technical team providing end-user and network support services. Act as the primary contact and onsite escalation point for deskside and network support activities. Manage and distribute daily workloads among engineers while remaining actively involved in hands‑on support tasks. Oversee incidents and requests to ensure adherence to SLA and quality standards. Participate in transition planning, including knowledge transfer, documentation review, and shadow support activities. Drive continuous improvement in support processes and performance. Collaborate with the Service Delivery Manager to track service metrics, report performance, and plan resource allocation. Maintain asset, configuration, and access management accuracy across supported systems. Ensure compliance with security policies, IT guidelines, and customer requirements. Qualifications and Experience Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field. 3 years+ IT support experience Strong technical background in Windows, Office 365, endpoint management, and hardware troubleshooting. Familiarity with basic network support (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, Wi‑Fi). Experience in transition or service onboarding projects preferred. ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent experience in ITSM processes is an advantage. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to evolving business requirements.
