And to provide administrative and logistical support on various meetings, seminars and workshops under the Section. Duties Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the EDB;• To monitor/set up various database regarding the implementation of SS curriculum, including SS grants, PDP records, Stakeholder Engagement Events, news and FAQs; To handle the design, development and maintenance of webpages under the purview of C&S1, and oversee the interface between the website of CDC and other official websites of Education Bureau/CDI; To provide support in editing, page layout and graphic design for the publication of curriculum booklets, materials, and multimedia packages for secondary schools; To provide technical support for users of C&S1 including computer and Internet applications, organise the set up and take inventory control of computer hardware/software/facilities, and perform troubleshooting of hardware/software; To provide administrative support related to the preparation of seminars and workshops, such as uploading the course information onto the Training Calendar System, producing post course evaluation data/report, compilation of documents, and liaising with schools and participants; To provide administrative, technical and logistical support for official meetings under the purview of C&S1, including CDC meetings, Principals’ Liaison Meetings and various sectional and divisional curriculum exchange meetings; To provide pre- and post- as well as on-site logistics support for seminars/workshops, such as setting up of equipment and providing technical support on computer and AV equipment, and serving as floor manager at the seminars/workshops; To handle issues on server security audit for servers of CDI; To assist in the procurement and inventory checking of computer equipment; and To provide support for all technical, data management and support matters regarding the Diversity Learning Grant and the Pilot Scheme on Other Languages for Junior Secondary Students, which include: • operation and monitoring of online applications and online survey platforms; • management, analysis, retrieval and storage of application and payment data involving more than 500 schools; • projection of funding requirements during the annual Operating Expenditure Forecast (OEF) Exercise; • preparation of payment instructions for disbursement; and • responding to public enquiries. To provide technical advice and support to the digitalization and revamp of Sectional tasks relating to the CDC, which include: • liaison with SIM/ITMD on the creation of an online nomination platform for committees under the CDC; • coordination with contractor on the revamp of CDC website through creating a front-end interface; and • data generation for the CDC and its committees. To undertake any other duties as assigned by seniors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements At least three (3) years’ post-qualification information technology experience of which one (1) year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity. Proficiency in mobile / wireless technologies, knowledge management, collaborative tools, application development, implementation or maintenance using programming languages and various support / development tools / environments such as JAVA, J2EE, WEBSPHERE, XML, C++, C#, COBOL, NATURAL, SQL, VISUAL BASIC, ORACLE tools, WEB SERVICES, .NET or OSS, and operating systems / platforms such as WINDOWS, UNIX, LINUX, MVS, VMWARE or NETWARE. Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
