Responsibilities Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the OFCA; Managing infrastructure including Microsoft platform, databases, web platform, virtualization, containerization, Linux, SAN/NAS, HCL Domino systems, and other common applications for office environment; Providing helpdesk and hotline support; Providing technical advices to support business requirements; Engaging and collaborating with stakeholders to meet the business objectives; and Carrying out other technical and administrative duties as specified by the management. Requirements Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 2.0 (a) Candidates should have at least four (4) years of relevant post-qualification full-time IT working experience, of which two (2) years must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity. (b) Candidates should be customer-oriented and able to perform under pressure, willing to work after office hours and occasionally working on an on‑call basis as required. (c) Candidates should have experience in the following technologies/ products: (i) Virtualisation such as VMware vCenter, vSphere with High Availability and Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS); (ii) Storage Area Network (SAN); (iii) Containerisation such as Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, podman, containerd, KubeSphere, etc.; (iv) Microsoft Windows Server with Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, File Server cluster and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS); (v) Web servers such as Apache HTTP Server, Microsoft Internet Information Services, etc.; (vi) Database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server cluster, Oracle RDBMS, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, etc.; and (vii) HCL Domino. (d) Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in using the following technologies/ products: (i) Web application servers such as Red Hat JBoss, WildFly, Apache Tomcat, etc.; (ii) Linux operating systems such as Red Hat, Oracle Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.; (iii) IP telephony system; and (iv) Distributed file/ storage system. (e) Preference will be given to candidates who are holders of the following certificates or equivalent: (i) VMware Certified Professional (ii) Red Hat Certified System Administration (RHCSA)/ Red Hat Certified System Engineer (RHCE) (iii) Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)/ Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)/ Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) (iv) HCL/ IBM Certified System Administrator for Lotus Notes and Domino Criminal record check on the selected candidate will be required. Technical Skills At least 2 years' experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA); At least 2 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT); At least 1 year's experience in Production Database Support (PDS); At least 1 year's experience in Storage Area Network (SAN); At least 1 year's experience in Lotus Notes Mail Admin. & Technical Support (LNM); 1 year's experience in MySQL (MSQ) is an advantage; 1 year's experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS) is an advantage; 1 year's experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB) is an advantage; 1 year's experience in JBoss Application Server (JAS) is an advantage; 1 year's experience in Linux System Administration (LIN) is an advantage; 1 year's experience in Tomcat Application Server (TOM) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills At least 2 years' experience in customer service (CLS); At least 2 years' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT); At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV); 1 year's experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT) is an advantage; 1 year's experience in IT procurement (PRO) is an advantage. Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
