Key Responsibilities
- Public relations activities:
- Carry out production, photography, and design-related tasks for media events.
- Research and recommend on-brand celebrities and influencers for seeding campaigns and for attendance at media events.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, social media, and creative teams to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
- Provide administrative support as needed in the areas of media engagement, social media engagement, and event management.
- Performance data gathering, analysis and report development:
- Engage with local and regional public relations teams globally to gather performance data.
- Track media coverage for the Asia-Pacific team.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, shortfalls, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop performance reports.
- Participate in performance assessment meetings.
- Budget processing and monitoring:
- Lead the budget application process for various public relations activities.
- Engage with vendors to clarify budgetary items as needed.
- Engage with LHG’s Finance team on budgetary items as needed.
- Monitor budget spend to ensure alignment with plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in communications, marketing, analytics, or other relevant discipline.
- Preference for candidates with marketing analytics certifications.
- General understanding of public relations and the role of earned media in marketing.
- Demonstrated experience in managing facts and figures, preferably in a marketing context.
- Experience in working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, preferably in a business context.
- Background in engaging with parties in overseas markets, preferably in a business context.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Aptitude in assessing and prioritizing incoming assignments and managing competing deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English. Effective written and spoken Chinese skills a definite plus.
