We are seeking a dedicated Senior HR Manager with expertise in the retail industry to lead and enhance our client's human resources operations. Our client is a well established retailer with 150 headcount in Hong Kong. Description Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and executing HR strategies that align with the organization's business objectives. You will oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, training, and performance management, ensuring processes are efficient and effective. A critical part of your role will be to maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations while partnering with department heads to support workforce planning and talent development initiatives. You will lead employee engagement programs to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, manage HR operations including payroll, on & off boarding, compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness, and provide expert guidance to managers on HR-related matters. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to balance operational excellence with long-term people development goals. Profile A successful Senior HR Manager should have: A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience in HR management within the retail industry, with a minimum of 15-18 years' work experience. Strong knowledge of local employment laws and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively. Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
