We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our OTC & Mutual Funds team, under our Operations Department. Responsibilities Handle daily tasks on the trade, settlement and clearing for wide range of non-listed products (bonds; ELI & ELN) and mutual funds Handle requests and enquiries from salesperson, regulators, auditors, etc Monitor complicated control exceptions, investigate and coordinate to resolve Prepare operational documents like procedures, guidelines, etc Perform control tasks to secure the reliability of day-to-day output Continuously review the process flow and make or suggest improvements to strengthen the system in managing the process and the operational risk Resolve operational issues and escalate in accordance with complexity and risk level Work with unit managers and team lead to incorporate business and regulatory requirements to design process flow and procedures to deliver the support in an efficient and effective manner Assist unit managers and team lead to identify opportunity of process improvement; analyze, propose and implement improvement measures Participate in operations development or change initiative Set out acceptance criteria, test plan and coordinate/conduct user acceptance test on developments Participate in ad hoc business and system development projects from time to time Requirements Degree holder with at least 5 years of relevant experience Strong knowledge of market practice, market operations, regulations in wide range of non-listed products and familiar with mutual funds handling (order execution to settlement) High capability to adapt to changing working requirements Independent, enthusiastic, accountable, logical and systematic thinking Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Access Proficient in Cantonese, English and Mandarin Please send application with resume and expected salary quoting the job reference to the HR Department, 41/F, Central Plaza, 18 Harbour Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong.
