Manager/Senior Manager, Vertical Planning

What You'll Do Strategic Vision: Develop and shape the business model and strategic roadmaps for the vertical, overseeing the entire spectrum from supply to demand, business strategy, and technology innovation. Collaborate closely with regional teams to devise go-to-market strategies for new product verticals. Program Leadership: Lead strategic initiatives and cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, technical, on-site) to ensure alignment and consistent global delivery of user experience, aiming to elevate performance across verticals. Operational Excellence: Oversee and harmonize event operations across markets, ensuring global standards while respecting local cultures and regulations; frequent international travel required. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and delivery to users. Regional Account Management: Build and manage relationships with organizers, vendors, agencies, and clients across diverse regions; negotiate contracts and manage partnerships to deliver seamless experiences. Product & Technology Enhancement: Work with product and technology teams to improve visibility, usability, and conversion rates of booking processes across Klook’s mobile app, website, and other channels. Data-Driven Insights: Establish metrics and monitoring mechanisms to analyze commercial and operational performance, enabling data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across regions. What You'll Need Experience: A minimum of 6 years in OTA, e-commerce, or tech startups. Prior experience in global/regional/local entertainment event planning, operations, or venue management is a plus. Project Leadership: Proven track record of driving cross-departmental projects and initiatives. Language Skills: Proficiency in English; Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset. Global Outlook: Comfortable working with diverse cultures and across time zones. Effective Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels. Leadership: Strong leadership capabilities to navigate a matrixed organization. Analytical Acumen: Data-driven decision-making with ability to extract actionable insights from multiple data sources.
