Responsible Officer (Insurance Brokerage) We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Responsible Officer (RO) to lead our compliance, internal control, and risk management functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong regulatory knowledge, business insight, and a deep commitment to upholding professional and ethical standards within the insurance brokerage industry. Ensure all operations, sales activities, and documentation comply with Insurance Authority (IA) regulations, codes of conduct, and company policies. Oversee licensing, regulatory reporting, and audit processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Develop, implement, and enhance internal compliance and risk management systems to align with regulatory expectations and best industry practices. Act as the primary liaison with the Insurance Authority, auditors, and external partners on compliance matters. Advise senior management on compliance risks, regulatory developments, and business process improvements. Supervise, train, and mentor licensed representatives and sub-agents to maintain professional standards and ethics. Promote a culture of compliance while supporting the company’s commercial objectives and sustainable growth. Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Responsible Officer or in a senior compliance role within insurance or financial services. Strong knowledge of Insurance Authority regulations, intermediary guidelines, and insurance brokerage operations. Proven experience in compliance management, operational control, and risk governance. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Business-minded with the ability to integrate compliance and commercial objectives. Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Able to foster a positive, compliant, and growth-oriented company culture. Passionate about the insurance industry and committed to professional excellence. Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution ability. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and confidence in dealing with regulators and senior management.
