Job Description
Strong team leading and Hunter mind-set are important. Able to speak fluent English is a must. Candidate with less experiences may be considered as Senior Sales Manager (Hunter role)as Individual contributor.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the sales team and work with the Country Head to develop and define the business strategy for Hong Kong in order to achieve sales, revenue, profitability and growth targets.
• Gather, analyses and synthesize market, business and intelligence related to various businesses in the different verticals.
• Build pipelines and develop and execute strategies to grow and maintain existing accounts and market share.
• Work with the other functions and business groups to ensure the soundness of business judgement for potential business growth and partnership opportunities to provide fact based recommendations to the management.
• Provide leadership and direction to team in driving the business and oversee the development of competencies and career progression of team members.
• Identify and groom potential successors to key positions with the team.
• Aggressively generate and pursue sales leads in relation to telecom WAN services, managed ICT services to meet or exceed sales target assigned.
• Supervise Sales Managers to complete all stages of the sales cycle including developing leads through cold-calling, qualifying prospects, customized proposal development, contract negotiation, and project implementation
• Oversee the interworking among various post-sales support functions to ensure delivery of results and customer experience.
• Devise and execute strategic account plans to deepen account share and relationship with major accounts.
• Deliver formal customer presentations
• Write and present customer proposals
• Negotiate with customers at a senior management/director level
Job Requirements
• Degree or higher with at least 15 years relevant experience in account management in the Telco or system integrators industries in which with a minimum of 3 years in team leading function.
• Strong sales track record in regional MPLS, Unified Communications, managed Video Conferencing, network optimization, managed security solutions, infrastructure integration, etc will be an added advantage.
• An excellent sales track record
• Candidates with MNC experience will be an added advantage
• Must be self-driven, energetic, resourceful and creative
• Able to collaborate with different cross functions in different units located in different countries
• Able to deliver professional sales presentation, proposals and reports
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team.
• Experienced in bidding for large projects and project implementation.
• Excellent deal making, communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-orientated and sensitive to numbers is essential.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
