Business Analyst (Underwriting Operations) Assist in ensuring that all underwriting activities are executed in line with established procedures and service standards, while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Analyze and support underwriting of life and medical insurance applications, ensuring risk aligns with product design and policy pricing. Provide excellent customer service related to underwriting inquiries, including responding to calls from various channels regarding life and medical applications. Conduct customer feedback sessions, surveys, and focus groups periodically to monitor changing customer expectations and contribute to service enhancement initiatives. Lead the automation project of underwriting activities, improving efficiency and accuracy. Contribute to system enhancement initiatives aimed at improving business growth and service efficiency. Participate in ad‑hoc underwriting projects as assigned by the team leader. Enhance professional service standards and improve communication across sales channels. Requirements University graduate with a professional qualification in life insurance (e.g., FLMI or ICA). Minimum one year of business analyst experience within the insurance industry. Understanding of scanning processes and new business administration workflows. Experience participating in system or business-related projects. Proven experience in automation, particularly in underwriting operations. Detail‑oriented, analytical, and a strong collaborator. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in written and spoken English; proficiency in written Chinese and spoken Cantonese and Mandarin is preferred.
