Business Development Manager, SMB (New Business) This is a role with our latest product: ShopBack Pay – a new initiative that helps customers earn cashback in the offline/online world. The position focuses on acquiring SMB merchant partners and establishing long‑term relationships. Responsibilities Execute the company’s plan in acquiring SMB merchant partners. Leverage strong SMB merchant connections, especially within the F&B industry. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and stay ahead. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (operations, account management, marketing) to ensure alignment and successful implementation of ShopBack Pay initiatives. Provide feedback to improve and streamline the sales cycle with optimized operational processes. Offer ongoing support to merchant partners, understanding their expectations and optimizing their experience with ShopBack Pay. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of Business Development / Account Management experience, preferably within the technology or e‑commerce sector. Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and compellingly. Strong interpersonal skills coupled with good analytical capabilities. A self‑starter and motivated individual with a "can’t‑is‑not‑an‑option" attitude; a problem‑solver who is not discouraged by failure or mistakes. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, juggling multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Hungry and driven to participate in building a successful business in a startup environment.
