Head of Sales & Client Coverage, Business Banking Add expected salary to your profile for insights Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to increase fee-based income from FX and transactional products. Increase the bank’s market share in the SME segment by acquiring new high-value SME clients and strengthening relationships with the existing portfolio. Set and achieve targets for FX turnover, transactional fees, and other income streams. Identify new product opportunities and market trends to expand the service offering for SME clients. Act as the subject matter expert to manage & grow the portfolio of SME client. Provide expert advisory on foreign exchange risk management, including hedging strategies using forwards, options, and swaps. Conduct regular client reviews to understand their business cycle, anticipate needs, and cross-sell relevant transactional and treasury products. Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and loyalty by delivering exceptional, proactive service. Lead, mentor, and motivate teams of relationship managers and product specialists. Foster a high-performance culture focused on revenue generation, client-centricity, and risk management. Requirements Preferably a Degree holder in Business or related disciplines Minimum 15 years’ of credit and marketing experience at a managerial level in SME Banking, Commercial Banking or Transactional Banking, with a strong focus on Foreign Exchange and fee-generating products. Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in heading up a team of Relationship Managers servicing SME/corporate customers. Preferably possess / obtain Core or Professional level of qualification under the HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) on Credit Risk Management (CRM). In-depth knowledge of transaction banking, cash management and FX products, hedging techniques, and cross-border/ international payment systems.
