We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Data Risk Governance.
Principal Responsibilities
- Understand the regulatory landscape relating to data privacy in Asia.
- Responsible to drive the rollout and adoption of the Data Privacy policy and procedures across Asia.
- Responsible for managing the delivery of the data privacy related services and advise markets to ensure the Entity COO can effectively manage their risk.
- Active participant in the design of the Data Privacy Framework, championing the specific needs of Asia.
- Partner with Global Businesses & Function in the design and delivery of technical solutions compliant with ASP data privacy policies, procedures and regulations.
- Manage the management and reporting on the level of compliance with Data Privacy policies and escalate any potential issues and concerns.
- Serve as the primary data privacy contact for markets and businesses in Asia, acting as the subject matter expert supporting the region.
- Design and lead a literacy/education program to raise awareness and understanding of data privacy accountabilities, regulatory requirements, and risk across markets in Asia.
- Design and deliver effective and actionable insights on data privacy and risk in Asia, proactively identifying opportunities to reduce risk through timely action.
- Develop effective relationships with Group Privacy and Data Risk teams, and Cluster Market Heads of Data, COOs and CIOs to ensure data privacy risk is understood and managed.
