Role Overview The Monad Foundation is a team of dedicated ecosystem and community builders on a mission to massively grow the impact of decentralized tech. We believe that the Monad blockchain—the performant and parallel EVM Layer 1—will help decentralized apps eat the world. The Role We’re looking for a LATAM Head/Lead Institutional BD to establish Monad as the blockchain of choice for enterprises, financial institutions and payment providers across Latin America. You’ll be building and managing strategic relationships that drive enterprise adoption and institutional integration. Responsibilities Build and activate a network of relationships with enterprises, financial institutions, payment providers and regulators Drive expansion and market entry in regional payments infrastructure and enterprise blockchain adoption Negotiate and close strategic deals that bring significant capital and retail adoption to Monad Serve as the primary liaison between regulators and policy makers Own goals and success metrics for institutional adoption and enterprise integration across the region Identify and execute on high‑impact opportunities that accelerate Monad’s market position Qualifications 8+ years of experience in business development, corporate development in fintech, payments or crypto Fluent in Spanish (native proficiency preferred); Portuguese a plus. Strong English communication skills for cross‑cultural business discussions Deep, established relationships with major enterprises, financial institutions, payment companies and regulators across LATAM Executive‑level communication, earning trust with senior decision‑makers across complex organizations Exceptional ownership and self‑motivation, consistently taking initiative and delivering meaningful outcomes Strong written communication skills and experience working cross‑functionally with remote counterparts in mid‑to‑large organizations Excellent storyteller who can move between technical and business contexts Nice to Have Direct experience working with central banks, regulators or policy makers in LATAM Background in stablecoins, payments rails or institutional crypto products Deep technical understanding of how crypto and / or payments stacks work Location Based in Mexico, Brazil, or Argentina, with flexibility to travel frequently across the region.
