About the job Service Partner / Of Counsel | Corporate | Int'l Law Firm | HKG About the role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Corporate Service Partner or Of Counsel to join our client, a prominent international law firm with a strong growth path in Hong Kong. In this exceptionally rare and unique case, there is no expectation on bringing a portable book . Rather, the emphasis is on quality candidates with Big Ticket deals experiences, a solid law school background, a strong track record in client relationship managment,and astable career history with top tier eliteUS/international law firms. The role involves advising clients on complex corporate transactions, including global public and private M&A deals, Hong Kong equity offerings, and other capital markets transactions, including US IPOs. The candidate will also provide regulatory advice, particularly in relation to listing rules and compliance matters, and will be involved in investigations and other regulatory matters as needed. About you To be successful in this role, you will be a Hong Kong qualified solicitor with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in equity capital markets and ideally mergers and acquisitions (M&A).You are also expected to have extensive experience in equity capital markets and M&A cross-border transactions. Additional experience in financial services or listing rules regulatory, investigations, debt capital markets (DCM), or funds would be highly advantageous. Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is essential for this role, as it involves significant interaction with clients and stakeholders in both languages. We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
