APAC Regional Business Development Manager Fastway Aviation Group Corporation Location: Remote‑first across APAC (preferred bases: Hong Kong / Singapore / Kuala Lumpur (SZB) / Bangkok (DMK)) Function: Business Development – Ground Handling & Fuel & Chater Employment Type: Full‑time About Fastway Fastway Aviation is a business aviation services platform that provides ground handling coordination, aviation fuel solutions, and trip support across APAC and beyond. We operate with an AI‑driven, data‑first mindset and partner closely with operators, management companies, and charter brokers to deliver reliable, cost‑efficient operations. Role This is a hybrid BD role focused on: Securing Direct Fuel Agreements (DFA) with national and local aviation fuel suppliers across multiple countries to unlock the most competitive pricing and terms. Growing global ground handling & fuel customers (operators/management companies/charter brokers) — with priority focus on China and North America while supporting APAC flows. Coordinating ground handling service capability (direct or via partners; no exclusivity implied) and ensuring SLA coverage, including AOG responsiveness. Duties Supplier‑first sourcing: Negotiate DFAs (price tiers, credit terms, onboarding/KYC‑KYB); build and maintain a structured price center by route/airport/service. Customer acquisition & growth: Win and expand GH & fuel customers; deepen wallet share on high‑frequency routes. Deal design & proposals: Lead RFI/RFP; design tiered pricing, rebates, guardrails; close with clean handovers. Operational readiness: Ensure GH access and readiness (direct/partner) with measurable SLAs and AOG ≤ 2h. Data & cash discipline: Own CRM pipeline, run win/loss reviews; commissions tied to collected gross profit; track AR/credit lines. Compliance: Anti‑bribery, trade compliance, sanctions screening; protect price lists/SLA/customer‑supplier directories as trade secrets. Candidate Qualifications Must‑haves 3–5 years in business aviation / ground handling / aviation fuel / charter (supply or BD) with supplier‑side negotiation exposure. Demonstrated DFA wins (or renewals) and measurable GP impact (e.g., saved $/USG, % margin uplift, volume tiers achieved). Strong contracting toolkit: DFAs/MSAs/SLAs, credit lines, rebates, payment terms, cross‑border tax/VAT basics (HK/SG offshore setups a plus). Pricing acumen: unit economics, airport/government fees, FX basics; can build/maintain a multi‑airport price book. CRM fluency (Salesforce/HubSpot/Zoho): pipeline hygiene, stage definitions, forecast accuracy. Language: English required; Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a plus (other APAC languages also a plus). Comfortable with remote work and quarterly travel (1–2 weeks/quarter); self‑directed and outcomes‑driven. Legal right to work in chosen base country; able to support APAC time zones. Nice‑to‑haves Existing network with fuel suppliers and global GH buyers (operators/management companies/charter brokers), particularly China & North America. Knowledge of IS‑BAH/IS‑BAO environments; JIG/IFQP familiarity; basic fuel quality & safety awareness. Experience standing up AOG programs, credit governance, and AR risk controls. Strong Excel/Sheets (lookups, pivots, what‑if); SQL/BI exposure is a plus. Degree in Business/Aviation/Logistics/Engineering; MBA or project certs (e.g., CAPM) a plus. Compensation & Incentives Base salary: aligned to location and experience (mid‑level band). Tiered commission on collected gross profit: Industrial competitive.
