Our client is a well-known international Asset Management company that offers a wholesale total solution business and Asset Management business.

 

Exciting new role for you

  • You will belong to Investment Advisory team and support the evaluation of investment opportunities to update market investment opportunities such as fund calendar and peer comparison fund summaries. You will support Group Head and Team Head in developing investment recommendations on shortlisted funds. You are also making presentations of recommendations to shortlisted funds semi-annually to Overseas Head Office/Clients.
  • You need to make reference calls on relevant investment opportunities, you also review the legal checklist for potential investment opportunities. It is important to coordinate with the Head Office in Japan on calling investment committee procedures and managing the timeline for subscription.
  • You will conduct market research, monitor investments, and attend investor conferences and one-to-one meetings with external Managers. Based on the market research, support Group Head and Team Head in developing investment strategies in US.
  • You also monitor existing fund investments and the ongoing financial performance of portfolio companies

Requirements

  • 2-3 years in Private Equity-related investment, equity research, asset management, consulting, investment advisor, or family office. Relevant experience in a private equity firm will be considered a priority.
  • MBA or equivalent is considered an asset.
  • CFA, CAIA, CPA, CA designation is considered an asset.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, strong communication skills (oral and written), and presentation skills.
  • Strong research, financial modeling, analytical and valuation skills.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Flexibility, adaptability to Japanese culture, initiative and creativity.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Team player who is used to working in high performance culture.
  • Willingness to travel is a must.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus Ability to speak multiple languages (Japanese) is a plus.
