Investments and Wealth Solutions - Insurance Platform and Solutions
Hang Seng's Investments and Wealth Solutions offers a full spectrum of wealth products and services to our Wealth and Personal Banking customers, from high-net-worth to mass segments across channels to capture opportunity under different market scenarios. We play a distributor role to source investment and insurance products from service providers, manage the product due diligence and onboarding, as well as client journey design and implementation. We distribute investment funds managed by top tier fund managers covering different types of funds, across regions and asset classes. A wide range of structured products with underlying linked to equities, FX rates, interest rates, investment funds, etc. are offered for investors to pursue different investment objectives. We also offer fixed income instruments and certificates of deposit to customers who look for regular coupon payment. Besides, we have securities services covering exchange traded equities in local and overseas markets offered through a wide variety of trading channels. Margin trading services covering FX and securities, and investment financing service provides extra liquidity and purchasing power to cater for investment needs from sophisticated investors.
We are seeking a high caliber to join us as Senior Manager, Insurance Platform and Solutions (Insurance Product Development).
Principle responsibilities
  • Develop product strategy and lead the end-to-end product onboarding and development process for insurance products by working with HSIC to ensure the right and competitive product range, and insurance products with external partnerships are delivered to meet the insurance needs of our customers and grow profitable wallet share.
  • Perform new and ongoing product due diligence review, and associated risk assessment for insurance products.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with insurance products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standard and internal guidelines.
  • Manage governance and oversight of internal and external insurance partners from the bank's perspective.
  • Oversee the training to frontline on product features, benefits, and competitive differentiation.
Requirements
  • University degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Insurance or related discipline
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in banking / insurance industry, with 3 years or above business or product management role at senior level preferred
  • Demonstrated track record in product development and management, implementation and oversight of policy and governance frameworks, procedures, practices
  • Result-oriented with strong leadership and communication skills, demonstrating capability in leading team to inspire and engage people at all levels and effect change to regulatory update
  • Language proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
