Overview

A foreign corporate bank in Hong Kong is seeking to hire a Relationship Manager, Financial Institutions (NBFI) provide specialized credit solutions and client coverage support for Financial Institutions and Non-Bank FI business to achieve its business target and comply with regulatory requirements.

Role Responsibilities

  • Join the Financial Institutions Group as a Relationship Manager and provide relationship coverage to PRC NBFI clients (such as securities, broker/dealers).
  • Prepare credit proposal / annual reviews of Financial Institutions (NBFI) by carrying out credit checks, financial analysis and company searches
  • To help identify business opportunities and cross sell banking products.
  • To assist in performing detailed account planning by analyzing and evaluating product applications / relevance to client's business plans/requirements
  • Identify and address service gaps, if any, and recommends solutions.
  • To mediate conflicts, if any, and/or issues between clients and product partners.
  • To manage transaction, monitor implementation process and ensure smooth and expeditious delivery and deal completion.
  • To work and cooperate closely with product partners in advising clients
  • Provide necessary guidance to team mates and product partners to work on the best total proposition to clients and ensuring clients' satisfaction.
  • Reviews the quality output of works produced by product partners and its suitability as a total solution towards client's satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 5+ years relationship management experience in corporate banking
  • Credit analysis and credit management experience from reputable banks required
  • Preferably ECF-CRM certification holder
  • Good analytical skills with solid experience in credit analysis for NBFIs preferred.
  • Demonstrate excellent relationship building and management in terms of providing sound and appropriate client-related advisory services.
  • Due to nature of the bank, Professional-level spoken English and Cantonese is strongly preferred
