Head of IT Innovation Solutions (Hong Kong & Greater Bay Area) - IC

Job Description:

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Associate Director / Senior Manager of Innovation Solutions team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Focus on advanced and innovative solutions – digital transformation consulting, big data, cloud, applied analytic, smart video analytic etc.
  2. Identify and shape client propositions, develop and execute client engagement plans to drive the opportunities from origination to sales closure.
  3. Responsible for service delivery management or high-valued application development, SI and maintenance and operation of the projects under the solutions centre, supported by project managers and directors.
  4. Manage and monitor the budget and control costs to ensure maximum achievement of revenue and margin.
  5. Establish network with partners and ecosystems for innovation and cooperation.
  6. Drive the co-creation of innovation solutions with group's internal and external partners.
  7. Provide thought leadership and PoV of digital transformation for HK and Greater Bay Area.
  8. Collaborate with regional Innovation Centres and other region business teams to gain synergy.
  9. Shape and drive the key initiatives regarding digital transformation for clients.
  10. In charge of financial metrics and related KPI in Hong Kong and aggressive YOY revenue growth.
  11. Strategize and build competences to support projects and opportunities.
  12. Identify addressable market opportunities and provide guidance in setting business targets and working towards company goals.
  13. Attract and retain highly skilled and quality staff in the current job market.
  14. Board knowledge and experiences in a variety of industries and job types.
  15. Identify and track market trends, emerging technologies and technology disruption to implement strategies and action plans for new opportunities, competition and threats in the IT industry.
  16. Address uncertainty arising from volatile market factors such as changes in government policies, competitive landscape and disruptive technologies driving automation.
  17. Strong ability to conceptualize and actualize visionary strategies and provide leadership to defend and entrench our core business in the current intensifying competitive landscape.
  18. Innovatively harness latent synergies to improve competitiveness and productivity through greater offshore leverage, workforce refresh and retention as well as capability/quality enhancement.
  19. Establish strong brand equity and position company as the market leader for service delivery.
  20. Strong stakeholder management and ability to engage key customer management for win-win negotiations on project scope, deliverables and contractual obligations.

Job Requirements:

  1. Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 15 years relevant work experience with expertise and proven experience in Software Design & Development.
  3. Strong technical experience in System and/or Applications Architecture Design for large-scale projects.
  4. Strong technical experience in Reference Architecture Definition.
  5. Ability to conceptualize and create the most efficient and appropriate solution for a software development project; taking into consideration the integration of various components, identification and mitigation of known technical risks, application of architectural principles, technology standards and industry best practices.
  6. Proven track record and proficiency in both Application and Infrastructure Design for large scale projects.
  7. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of leading large teams.
  8. Strong people management and problem-solving skills.
  9. Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  10. Ability to think strategically, identify and understand business needs and translate into strategic plans and solutions.
  11. Highly adaptable and collaborative.
  12. Ability to adapt and rise to the occasion under high pressure and possess strong crisis management skills.
  13. Mature people management skills, budget management and experience in building teams.
  14. Strong customer-service orientation. Works well in a multicultural workplace.
  15. Proven record of successful staff management in areas of recruitment, performance appraisal and professional development.
