Role and Responsibilities
  • Ensure each business unit develops and manages a comprehensive set of health insurance products
  • Drives consistency in our product set across markets, with a focus on sustainability and differentiation
  • Works with the Customer Success director in identifying (unmet) customer needs by segment
  • Effectively translates customer needs into product design, leading to market-leading propositions
  • Balances market attractiveness with the ability to sell (distribution) and profitability requirements
  • Assist the Health Actuary in the analysis and development of pricing strategies
  • Partners effectively with product and pricing colleagues across the priority health markets
  • Develops and implements an industrialized product development process across all markets
  • Sources, selects and manages a range of partners that help deliver the end-to-end propositions
  • Monitors and manages value contribution by product through a process of active product management
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business studies or working experience in related area.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in related fields (i.e., health insurance, strategy consultation)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office
  • Relevant work experience across multiple Asian markets
  • Strategic thinking, paired with strong focus on execution.
  • Ability to measure effectiveness of deliverables and adapt for improvements.
  • Able to work cross-functionally and identify synergy among teams.
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrates ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead programs & projects.
  • Proven track record in health insurance proposition development
  • Strong negotiation skills in managing suppliers
  • Cultural sensitivity
  • Innovative and creative, possesses a "can do" mindset.
  • Ability to work independently: proactively identify opportunities and take ownership.
