Duties

The appointee is expected to:

Provide administrative support for delivery of academic programmes (including admission, course administration, curriculum development and quality assurance); Manage the departmental website and social media accounts, develop and produce promotional materials; Organise departmental and student activities (e.g. marketing and promotion, publication and external relations); Provide administrative support to faculty members and departmental committees; Handle appointment and related matters for academic and research staff; Supervise other support staff of the General Office; and Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years’ relevant experience. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); exceptional organisational, interpersonal and analytical skills with a creative approach to problem solving; and strong self-motivation with the ability to multitask and work independently under pressure are required. Prior experience in administering doctoral degree programmes and research projects would be an advantage. 

Candidates with less relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer II.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
