The Job
Sales and Distribution Compliance
Provide day to day advice and support on sales and distribution compliance matters across different channels and business units Support on projects and new business initiatives to ensure the sales and distribution risks are properly identified, mitigated and monitored Develop and implement adequate and effective sales and distribution framework, controls and monitoring programs for different distribution channels in order to meet regulatory requirements Conduct and complete annual and/or thematic compliance review according to Annual Compliance Plan and/or assigned by regulators or managementData Privacy
Perform gap analysis on new regulations in relation to Data Privacy Maintain and execute implementation on updating data privacy policies and manualsProduct Compliance
Provide support and regulatory advice on product development Any ad hoc assignments or tasks that may delegated by Deputy Head of Compliance from time to time Provide support to Data Protection Officer in handling data privacy incident and any internal or external auditsThe Person
Bachelor Degree in law, accounting or business At least 15 years of compliance related working experience in financial institutions in Hong Kong with at least 5 years in insurance industry Relevant experience in dealing with regulators such as Hong Kong Insurance Authority, The Securities and Futures Commission Familiar with insurance related legislations and regulatory requirements in Hong Kong Fluent in written and spoken English & Cantonese Strong analytical and research skills. Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills. Able to work independently and as a team player.
