The Head of Solution Architecture and Quality Assurance will lead and coach a team of Solution Architects and Quality Assurance professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. This role will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and business solution analysis.

Craft holistic solution architectures in alignment with business objectives, adhering to enterprise architectural standards. Actively collaborate with Enterprise Architects for Architecture Review Board (ARB), aligning strategies, and adopting a global architecture framework. Assume the role of Design Authority to ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of all solution designs. Stay updated with industry best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of design standards and practices within the organization. Establish and implement Quality Assurance processes, standards, and methodologies across the organization. Lead the Testing Center of Excellence (CoE) to design and execute robust testing strategies for software and applications projects. Enhance the quality management framework, ensuring that quality assurance practices align with industry standards and contribute to the overall quality at every stage of the project. Collaborate closely with Client Solutions heads to shape and execute technology strategies aligning with organizational goals. Actively contribute to the formulation of technology roadmaps and architectural guidelines. Enhance the portfolio management by ensuring that solution architectures are in sync with broader business demands and objectives. Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the portfolio for which RPA and hyperautomation could be leveraged. Establish meaningful connections with business and market teams to understand their needs and co-create customized solutions. Cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external partners, ensuring the success of solution implementations and projects delivery. Keep an eye on the latest happenings in Retail Lab testing tech and industry trends, understanding how they could affect our work. Bring in fresh ideas and improvements by suggesting and putting into action new tech, methods, and quality assurance practices to keep our Retail Lab testing ahead of the curve. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Additional qualifications in business or project management are a plus. Proven experience (10+ years) in IT architecture, system design, or IT project management, with a focus on Retail operations and solutions. Strong knowledge of IT Architecture principles, cloud technologies, networking, security, and data management. Expertise in designing and implementing systems, including hardware, software, and integration with other IT systems. Project management expertise, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Proficiency in IT architecture frameworks and methodologies, such as TOGAF, SAFe or ITIL. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective IT solutions and architectures. Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT and POS architecture for Retail operations.
