You will be responsible for:

  • leading as the ticketing solution technical owner to oversee the day-to-day operations, monitor service levels, identify areas for improvement, and manage the service providers to ensure all services meet the Authority's standards for the service level and operational requirement;

  • collaborating with the ticketing business owner and stakeholders to ensure the ticketing solutions optimally and robustly support the daily ticketing operations;

  • facilitating the ticketing business owner and stakeholders on planning incoming events and ensure corresponding ticket settings are well-defined and configured at the backend of the ticketing solutions to deliver the required operations;

  • managing, supporting, and troubleshooting ticketing application operation issues, escalate the issue to supporting parties (internal/external), and investigate the root cause;

  • collaborating with the BAU Sustainment manager to ensure the application design and technology stack are up-to-date and working as expected;

  • ensuring the application is well-tested according to the quality assurance plan and work with the quality assurance manager to design and set up the regression tests;

  • managing the SDLC and work with the Solution Architect to ensure the application design is aligned with architectural principles and approved by the Architecture Governance Board;

  • acting as the data steward of ticketing data to ensure that the data definition is well-defined.  And to facilitate the data integration process to ensure that ticketing and other visitor journey-related data are seamlessly ingested into the data lake;

  • managing the ticketing terminals, kiosks, and other sales solutions and ensure the service providers deliver high-quality services;

  • managing the application development cycle to ensure new features, solutions, and bug fixes are delivered as per quality aligned with business units, and the changes are well-tested and reviewed according to governance policy;

  • collaborating with other IT teams to ensure applications across the Authority’s application landscape are seamlessly and smoothly integrated;

  • reviewing the existing ticketing solution design, workflow, and daily operation issues, identify the areas for improvement, and lead the team in executing the improvement plans;

  • leading the design of next-generation ticketing solutions to facilitate both the B2C and B2B business; and

  • developing robust and constructive relationships with business owners and stakeholders.  Be a role model in bringing solutions or countering better suggestions to untangle conflicting or diverging settings.

You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant disciplines;

  • have at least 10 years of working experience with 6 years in project management, system implementation, and development in at least one of the following application domains: Ticketing system, Retail & POS, E-commerce, system integration platform;

  • have experience in ticketing solutions is an advantage;

  • have experience in implementation and post-implementation support of on-premises and cloud-based corporate systems;

  • be a root-cause oriented problem solver with strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse data, identify insights, and make data-driven decisions;

  • be a good team player with mature and positive attitude, self-motivated and able to work independently;

  • have experience in managing and maintaining relationships with vendors and service providers; and establishing vendor selection criteria, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and ongoing support;

  • have excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal and project management skills;

  • have excellent on priority setting. Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs;

  • possess a certified PMP / PSM is preferred but not mandatory;

  • have a track record of authoring and maintaining well-organized documentation accountable in this role over the end-end full lifecycle of corporate applications; and

  • be proficient in written and spoken English Chinese, and Mandarin.
