We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Business Administration and Operational Management.

Principal Responsibilities

Business Administration & Operational Management will participate in business activities, supporting Senior Managers with BAU & non-BAU activities, cyclical work pieces such as Annual Reporting and short term initiatives. They are located in BAU teams and would report to a Senior Manager.

This job is not client facing and does not have any portfolios.Those employees fulfilling a Business Administration & Operational Management role are expected to possess some knowledge of financial budgeting, strategic planning, communication, and people management processes in the context of the business area they are located in but are not expected to have specific product knowledge relating to the business or function in which they are located.

The key tasks will include some or all of the following:

Participate and support Asia country/territory IT teams in business management related activities including but not limited to: Financial Management, Workforce Management, Third Party Management, etc Partner with country/territory IT leads in managing workforce, including maintenance of current headcount in Pioneer, recruitment, obtaining necessary approvals, etc Contribute to senior management decision making by use of management information, performance information, analytics, forums and stakeholder feedback Support in forums and peole engagement events within the business area Relationship management and collaboration skills: ability to form effective relationships and achieve influence with peers across the organization Deep understanding of HSBC structures, processes and objectives Day to Day support activities in helping to run the IT operations Support any other ad hoc requests Requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; experience of working with diverse teams Proficiency in verbal and written English, especially proficient in email communication and reporting Must possess excellent attention to detail and ability to investigate items in detail Logical and analytical thinking Positive ‘can do’ attitude, high level of motivation to meet aggressive deadlines and targets. Strong customer focus and commitment to delivery; Excellent problem solving and User support skills Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment to deliver high quality results under tight schedule and high pressure Well developed planning, time management and resource management skills Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint; knowledge of basic Data Analysis is a plus Self-starter and able to perform with minimal supervision Working in a global team with different cultures (preferred) Capability to handle multi-tasks and work under pressure
