The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) is seeking a high-caliber individual who is creative, mature, meticulous, passionate and motivated to support the Brand Marketing Team of the Public Affairs and Communications Unit in building a strong international and local brand of HKUST. The appointee will play a key role in managing the University’s brand image, and assisting in driving holistic marcom and digital branding initiatives of the University.
Duties include:
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or above in brand, marketing, communications, or related disciplines with 8 to 10 years or more of post-qualification work experience in developing original ideas and executing brand campaigns in corporations or leading consultancies. Candidates should be effective communicators with excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua), sound IT skills, strong analytical skills partnered with a creative and innovative mindset, result-oriented thinking, and a proven track record of excellent understanding of the full marketing mix. The appointee should be reliable, well-organized, a good team player, able to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, detail-minded, self-motivated, diplomatic, and observant in managing stakeholders. Applicants with solid experience in digital/website development and project management, proficiency in guiding production houses and agencies including research houses and other service providers will have an advantage. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
