Role OverviewThe Delta 1 and Volatility business is seeking a Junior Broker to join their desk.In their day-to-day role, the successful applicant will be primarily responsible for broking Delta 1 and Volatility contracts, servicing customers in these markets to generate revenue.Role Responsibilities:Promote TP ICAP Group.Provide complete support to the brokers for the smooth running of the desk.Ensure timely input of trades into trading systems.Resolve any trade queries received internally and externally, ensuring any trade discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.Identify trade opportunities and calculate strategies.Keep trade records up to date.Update real-time manual/electronic whiteboards with market data.Provide input on various projects for brokers and traders.Provide trade details to brokers and traders on a daily basis.Give live quotes to traders through the messaging systems.Monitor markets and follow financial news and developments.Understand the underlying products being traded and keep up to date with knowledge of new products/procedures.Liaise with clients (via telephone, messaging, and face to face) to understand the business objectives of your clients to provide a reliable and efficient broking service.Develop new business with existing clients and onboard new clients following the correct process with the Client On-Boarding team.Experience / Competences:EssentialDemonstrated interest in the financial markets and the economy.Fluent Japanese language skills.Understand the underlying products being brokered and keep up to date with knowledge of new products/procedures.Build and maintain organisational presence and personal impact.Resilient - ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment, can keep emotions under control in difficult situations.Externally aware and present.
