As we continue to focus on developing the division and pushing it to new heights, we are excited to invite an exceptional individual to become part of our prestigious family of wine professionals in the fastest growing area of the business. Reports to: Retail Director What You'll Be Doing: Drive Sales Success: Report directly to the Retail Director and work collaboratively to achieve sales targets, ensuring alignment with brand development and financial objectives. Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and execute effective sales strategies, fostering long-term relationships and driving Acker’s merchant sales division forward. Growth and Development: Actively pursue new business, identifying growth opportunities, and explore potential channels for expansion. Manage Key Accounts: Oversee sales projections and ensure effective implementation of sales and marketing strategies among private clients. Events: Actively participate in marketing and promotional activities including events, dinners and tastings. What We’re Looking For: Experience: At least 3-5 years of solid sales experience in the fine wine trade with a proven track record of selling wine to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. Forward thinking: A proven self-starter with a pro-active approach to bringing in new business, problem solving and maximising opportunities. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally. Wine Knowledge: A solid understanding of fine wine and spirits is essential, with familiarity with Western lifestyle and culture being an advantage.
