Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking bank, is seeking a Head of HR Shared Services to lead a centralized HR operations team. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing HR risk and governance. You will oversee staff benefits administration, HR policies, and risk management while acting as the Operational Risk Officer and BCP coordinator for the HR Division. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy Lead and manage the HR Shared Services team to deliver efficient and compliant HR operations. Drive process improvements, automation, and governance initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness. Act as a key advisor on HR risk, compliance, and corporate governance matters. Staff Benefits & HR Operations Oversee administration of staff benefits programs, including medical, life, and retirement schemes. Manage leave and attendance processes, employee health check-up allowances, and compensation insurance. Supervise annual reviews of employee assistance programs and staff engagement initiatives. Ensure accurate maintenance of staff records and HR documentation. Risk & Compliance Serve as Operational Risk Officer and BCP coordinator for HR Division. Maintain and review HR risk, compliance, and governance policies. Manage regulatory requirements, including Appointment of Managers" under Banking Ordinance. Oversee AML compliance for staff account transactions and maintain Connected Parties Lending Database. Manage intermediary licensing (Securities, Insurance, MPF) and update procedure manuals. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline. Minimum 8-10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong expertise in HR operations, compliance, and risk management within banking or financial services. Proven ability to lead teams and implement process improvements. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems; knowledge of AML and regulatory requirements is an advantage. Fluent in English and Chinese.
