About The Role The role of the Head of HR serves as a key member of the School leadership and as a strategic partner to the GM and the Head of School. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive HR strategy that supports the School mission, values, and operational goals. The Head of HR will lead all HR functions, including talent acquisition and retention, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and organisational development, ensuring a positive, cohesive, and high‑performing school culture. What You Will Be Doing Act as a trusted strategic advisor to SLT on all people‑related matters, including organisational design, change management, and workforce planning. Lead the development and implementation of HR initiatives aligned with the school's strategic goals. Develop and implement strategies for employee engagement, retention, and succession planning to build a high‑performing and sustainable workforce. Who We Are Looking For Highly motivated with an eye for detail. Experience in implementing policies, programmes and processes. Reliable and flexible, with ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Degree in HR or related discipline. At least 10 years of relevant HR experience, including 2 years or more in a managerial capacity, preferably in an international school environment. Experience in a diverse, multi‑cultural environment. Sound knowledge of Hong Kong employment laws and regulations. Benefits at Cognita Competitive salary depending upon qualifications and experience.
