Overview:
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing positive relationships between employees and management while addressing employee-related matters and concerns. This position serves as a strategic collaborator with the business to cultivate a productive, respectful, and engaging workplace. Additionally, the role involves investigating and resolving employee grievances and disciplinary matters, fostering open communication to ensure that the company's policies and procedures are applied fairly and consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a reliable advisor to the organization on employee relations issues, offering guidance and recommendations.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters with impartiality.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation between employees and management.
- Provide support to managers on effective employee relations practices, including performance management and communication strategies.
- Ensure that communication channels are clear to help managers understand and comply with HR policies and relevant employment regulations.
- Collaborate with the Business Partner team on initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture.
- Analyze HR data and metrics, delivering insightful reports to the leadership team to support informed decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws and related regulations.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant HR experience in multinational companies, including a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role with proven operational experience.
- Strong knowledge of local employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with individuals across various functions and levels.
- Familiarity with the BPO customer service sector is advantageous, with an understanding of business drivers for success.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in spoken and written English, Chinese, and Cantonese.
