Job Title: Business Strategy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Strategy Manager to join our team at Bank Of China (Hong Kong) Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our back office and providing full task support to our frontend teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Instrument Clearing and Book-Keeping: Handle the clearing of various financial instruments and maintain accurate daily book-keeping records.
  • Back Office Operations: Maintain smooth operation in back office and provide full task support to Frontend Teams.
  • Daily Settlement Operations: Handle the daily settlement operations of various financial instruments (mainly in securities and futures contracts) and daily accounting duties such as vouchers preparation, bank reconciliation.
  • Corporate Actions: Handle IPO application, nominees services and corporate actions.
  • Accounting and Segregation: Handle full set of accounts and segregation of funds.
  • Cash Flow and Funding: Review the daily cash flow and funding arrangement.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare SFC reporting and compliance (liquid capital computation, FRR etc.).
  • Management Reports: Prepare management reports and budgeting for senior management.
  • Internal Control: Implement proper internal control and procedures in mitigating operational risks.
  • System Enhancement: Participant in UAT and system enhancement.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Handle ad hoc projects as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree or above with major in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
  • Experience: At least 3 years experience in banking or financial institution, preferably in processing settlement and back office operations in Securities and/or Derivatives Market.
  • Skills: Familiar with CCASS & DCASS operations, securities and futures accounting, FRR.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work under pressure efficiently and willing to work overtime. Self-motivated, independent, and with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Language: Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, knowledge in Mandarin preferred.
