  • The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, industry best practices, and emerging trends in risk management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive operational risk management framework.
  • Assess the effectiveness of existing controls and provide improvement recommendations.
  • Identify and evaluate new and emerging operational risks within the bank.
  • Design and conduct risk assessments, scenario analysis, and scenario testing exercises.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the financial sector or consultancy, focusing on operational risk management.
  • Practical experience and knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with control frameworks such as SA-2, TM-G-2, IC-1, OR-1, OR-2 published by the HKMA.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
