The Job:

  • As a Ship Operations Manager, you will report to the Senior Operation Manager and work as part of a team in the Operation Team of 5-6 Operation Officers.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring all vessels, including international cruises, comply with pre-arrival and departure formalities in Hong Kong and southern China.
  • Your duties will include supervising and coordinating with sub-contractors, consignees/surveyors, or other parties related to vessel/cargo operations, bunkering, crew change, crew medical assistance, spare parts shipment/delivery Cash-To-Master.
  • You will compile and submit port disbursement accounts to Principals/Owners for reimbursement.
  • Requirements include:
    • 2+ years of experience as a Boarding Officer or 2+ year shore-based experience in shipping/operation fields.
    • General knowledge of the Hong Kong Shipping Ordinance.
    • Proficient in written and spoken English, Chinese, and Mandarin.
    • Customer service mindset.
    • MS Office and Excel skills.
    • 5 days work week.
