The Role: As a Boarding Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all pre-arrival and departure formalities for international cruises in Hong Kong and southern China. You will supervise and coordinate with sub-contractors, consignees/surveyors, and other parties related to vessel/cargo operations, bunkering, crew change, crew medical assistance, and spare parts shipment/delivery Cash-To-Master.

  • Attend all vessels, including international cruises, in Hong Kong and southern China.
  • Supervise and coordinate with sub-contractors, consignees/surveyors, and other parties related to vessel/cargo operations.
  • Compile and submit port disbursement account to Principals/Owners for reimbursement.
  • Minimum of 2 years as Boarding Officer or 2 years of shore-based experience in shipping/operation fields.

Requirements:

  • General knowledge of the Hong Kong Shipping Ordinance.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, Chinese, and Mandarin.
  • Customer service mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
