Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Boarding Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the clearance process for international cruises in Hong Kong and southern China. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders, including sub-contractors, consignees/surveyors, and other parties involved in vessel/cargo operations, bunkering, crew change, crew medical assistance, and spare parts shipment/delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work under the guidance of the Senior Operation Manager and collaborate with a team of 5-6 Operation Officers.
  • Ensure compliance with all pre-arrival and departure formalities for international cruises in Hong Kong and southern China.
  • Coordinate with sub-contractors, consignees/surveyors, and other parties related to vessel/cargo operations, bunkering, crew change, crew medical assistance, and spare parts shipment/delivery.
  • Prepare and submit port disbursement accounts to Principals/Owners for reimbursement.

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Boarding Officer or 2 years of shore-based experience in shipping/operation fields.
  • Familiarity with the Hong Kong Shipping Ordinance.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Chinese, and Mandarin.
  • A customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
