About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Collinson. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue in the Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Support the Business Development Director in developing and executing business development strategies to drive revenue growth in the financial services and travel sectors.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Be responsible for achieving sales targets and pipeline metrics in the assigned territory.
  • Prospect Identification and Engagement: Identify and engage with key decision-makers and influencers among qualified prospects to build commercially viable relationships.
  • Relationship Building: Develop deep and wide relationships within B2B targets to understand their business needs and challenges.
  • Solution Design and Articulation: Design and articulate complex business solutions into saleable solutions for both new and existing clients.
  • Partnership Development: Nurture and optimize strategic partnerships to support commercial goals.
  • Project Management: Project manage client opportunities in conjunction with the Business Solutions and North Asia teams.
  • Administration and Reporting: Deliver on administration and reporting processes to support efficient working, including Salesforce updates, bid qualification processes, and commercial, legal, and operational sign-off.
  • Industry Representation: Represent Collinson at key industry events.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in B2B loyalty, travel, or customer engagement selling.
  • Sales DNA: The DNA of a solutions sales person who craves to understand the customer in depth, their business environment, and their business needs deeply before even starting to talk about Collinson.
  • Passion for Sales: Be passionate to find new opportunities and 'close' new business.
  • Proven Track Record: A proven track record of exceeding targets.
  • Commercial Orientation: Strong commercial orientation.
  • Engaging Personality: An engaging personality and business network, such as with experience in dealing with bank/travel industry.
  • Can-Do Attitude: A real can-do will-do attitude. Does not recognize boundaries and thrives in an environment of opportunity, confidence, and hunger for growth.
  • Team Player: A good team player and thrives on being challenged.
  • Accountability: Will take accountability for action and takes deals through to closure and ensure a clean transition to the delivery and in-life team.
  • Influencer: An equally strong influencer internally as externally to ensure that the internal organization and stakeholders are brought on the sales journey.
