Job Description
  • We seek an experienced Financial Risk Manager to design and manage comprehensive frameworks and rigorous risk control policies, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • The successful candidate will monitor abnormal transactions and trader behaviors, establishing investigative and incident response frameworks.
  • A key responsibility will be defining proper risk appetite and developing real-time risk monitoring models, quantitative metrics, and tools to effectively manage market, liquidity, operational risks.
  • The ideal candidate will perform market research, risk assessments, regular model performance testing, and maintain proper documentation to continuously improve our firm's risk posture.
  • Timely and effective response to risk incidents, in-depth investigations, and collaboration with IT and cross-functional teams to develop appropriate systems and procedures will be essential.
  • The successful candidate will produce risk reports and work closely with senior management teams to promote firm-wide risk awareness.
  • Participation in new product development and ad hoc projects will also be required.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree or above in risk management, math, physics, statistics, engineering, computer science, financial engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Deep understanding of financial products (e.g., spot, futures, options), risk frameworks, and the regulatory landscape in the financial sector.
  • 4+ years of experience in risk management, with prior experience in the crypto industry highly desirable.
  • Proven abilities in data analytics, quantitative modeling, and risk management.
  • Solid programming skills in Python and SQL are highly preferred.
  • Proactive, detail-minded, and able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Highly fluent in English and professional level or above in Mandarin.
Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
