Global Executive Consultants Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Financial Risk Management professional to join their team as a Risk Manager, FICC.

About the JobThis is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Risk Manager to lead trade flow management and approval processes, ensuring seamless trading activities within our internal system. The successful candidate will work closely with front office teams and support functions to identify breaches or violations of compliance and risk monitoring rules.
The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or finance-related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in a trade support function, is preferred.
Key responsibilities include:
- Daily oversight of trade booking, validation, and settlement-related activities;
- Updating and maintaining the FICC underlying securities whitelist every month;
- Analyzing counterparties' financial strength and proposing DVP limits;
- Ensuring operational standards are adhered to and documenting exception processes;
- Leading control and process improvement opportunities across desks/entities;
- Participating in new product approval processes;
- Initiating projects to facilitate IT development or process change.
Competitive salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum. Bonus structure and benefits package available upon request.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline or finance-related field;
- At least 3 years of experience in a trade support function;
- A strong understanding of Fixed Income and Credit Structure Cash and Derivatives products;
- Control-focused mindset with a track record of excelling in risk management teams;
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
- Proficiency in Bloomberg and advanced Excel skills.
