The Risk Management Group (RMG) at DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited plays a vital role in ensuring the bank's financial performance and stability. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for managing risks effectively.

Company Overview

RMG is committed to providing independent review and challenge to the business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions. We also monitor and report on key risk issues of the bank.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package and benefits that are designed to support your development and recognize your achievements. Our compensation package includes a base salary of HK$50,000 - HK$70,000 per month, depending on experience.

Job Description

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Handling debt restructuring enquires and negotiating with debtors on the best possible terms of the debt restructuring requests
  • Assessing debt restructuring requests and proposing an appropriate interest rate and loan tenor for debtors who are facing financial difficulty but are willing and able to repay by restructuring their facilities and repayment structure
  • Processing debt restructuring repayments, bankruptcy dividends, and deceased recoveries in a timely manner
  • Providing administrative support for the Collections team, including transaction processing, access rights requests, PC refreshment, and stationery inventory management
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree or equivalent qualification, or secondary education plus 3 years of experience in consumer banking
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in collection activities, preferably in consumer credit collection
  • Good knowledge of collection activities on consumer products
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Compliance with guidelines and regulations laid down in the Code of Banking Practice, Code of Practice on Consumer Credit Data, and HKMA Supervisory Policy Manual
